Qlosi is Available… Finally!

After a long wait following FDA approval in October 2023, is now officially available to prescribe in the United States. On April 7, 2025, Orasis Pharmaceuticals announced the commercial launch of Qlosi through pharmacy partners including BlinkRx. (Ophthalmology Times)

For many patients who have been following the development of Qlosi since its FDA approval, this launch marks the first opportunity to actually obtain the medication in the United States. Qlosi is a prescription eye drop developed for adults with presbyopia, the common age-related loss of near focusing ability that typically begins in the 40s.

Qlosi is currently being fulfilled through BlinkRx, a home-delivery pharmacy platform that ships to all 50 states. Rather than picking up the medication at a traditional neighborhood pharmacy, patients receiving Qlosi will typically have the medication delivered directly to their home.

When our practice prescribes Qlosi, the prescription is electronically transmitted directly to BlinkRx. BlinkRx will then contact patients by text message or email to confirm shipping information, arrange payment, and coordinate home delivery of the medication.
